It's a Keeper!Apr 22, 2007
This was the first bed my son had at two days old. It was simple to set up by myself. I got the "winnie the pooh version" but it was the same make and design. The height is easy to adjust and the wheels retract to make it a rocker which is a great soothing feature. Never the less, The remote was really the lifesaver. You can be in the next room to use the vibration feature, turn on the light, and/or spin the mobile (and decide with or without music). It also includes light and sounds where the lights go up the inside arm of the mobile unit. The remote lets you choose one or multiple features at once. However, It doesn't last very long (10 secs?) but I was never too far from my son to care. There is also a night light feature on the handle of the mobile which was perfect for checking up on him throughout the night and it was soft enough that it didn't bother the baby. Later on this was perfect for room transitioning. WE ended up taking the bassinet out of the box again a month later to be used as a changing table. My son was starting to roll over and his origional changing table was too high and dangerous (he fell!). Take away the mobile and the canopy, lower the height, and keep the sides up, and you now have a safe and high-bordered changing area! Not to mention the basket is very generous/ deep in size. perfect for extra storage! My favorite feature was how well this travels. We needed to go to many places and he wasn't ready for his pack n' play yet. Plus, The sheets are inexpensive to buy! I bought them at the target/walmart centers for much less. I will definetly be saving this for my next one!
