This is a very nice desk, and quality furniture, however, despite careful packing of the desk, there was damage to the piece due to careless handling thru shipping. Desk was in 2 heavy boxes, but had burst out of one corner, and had about a 2" corner break. Due to shipping costs, I kept the desk as is, it is a quality piece of furniture, however, the shipping again, is suspect. (it was double boxed in very heavy cardboard, and wrapped in shrink wrap, so what did the shipper DO to cause this damage? I suspect it was dropped, MORE than one time.)
