I purchased this coat rack to hang all my bags on to free up a dresser. The only part of it that's of good quality is the base. More plastic than chrome. It was packaged well, I'll give it that!

This makes a good coat rack for light jackets only but if you hang any good thick coats such as coat made of leather or heavy winter jackets then you might have a problem. The rack itself is two piece and starts to wear with heaving clothing. Within one month of hanging motorcycle jackets on this rack it has started to give way bending to whatever side I hung a jacket on. The little balls on the rack for catching your clothing break very very easily.
The only way to get a good rack in my opinion is find a one piece rack and start from there.
