 Beautiful cart, just what I wantedNov 15, 2008
I was stunned when I took the pieces of the cart out of the box as it was so much better than I thought it would be. The wood is really solid, the veneer is very beautful and flawless, the rosewood color is gorgeous.
Assembly: It was easy to assemble with just a screwdriver (phillips head) and the little allen tool provided with the assembly package. I am by no means mechanically minded and don't have much upper arm strength but found assembling the cart to be pretty straight forward and easy. I didn't need to drill any holes. The tiny 'starter points' for the phillips screws were fine and once you place the screw in the point in the wood and press down firmly with the screwdriver and start turning the screw goes in pretty straightforwardly. You need to apply some pressure but even with my lack of strength I was able to do it no problem. The place in the round legs where the philips screws were to go in had no starter points but I applied the same press and turn principle to those and the screws went in no problem. The hardest part of that was making sure the legs were in the exact correct position before screwing since there were no starter points to direct me, but once I decided I had it turning the screws in was easy enough. The brackets on the underside of the top were bent ever so slightly out of alignment but again, with my limited strength, I bent them down slightly in my two hands and then placed them back in place again and they then fit flush where they were supposed to and I screwed them in without a hitch. The entire process took less than half an hour to do.
The finished product is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I love that it has the base shelf for placing a printer or in my case the computer tower (I am using it for a PC with the monitor on the top shelf and the tower on the bottom shelf as I am 'bedridden' on the sofa and I don't have a laptop. The keyboard is on my tablemate tv tray so I'm all set and with this new cart now when I want to move the monitor and tower to the side I can do so easily. I'd love this for that reason alone but the fact that it is also beautiful is such a wonderful bonus. Also, it arrived quickly (within the week) and was so inexpensive. The price here at Amazon was about forty dollars less than at other places and the shipping rate was very inexpensive. All in all I'd highly recommend the product and the price/shipping/seller.

Just what I neededFeb 08, 2008
I love the "furniture" look of this cart. I needed to get my laptop off my desk. It would be even better if it had some sort of cord maintenance and the base was reversible. Overall, I found it easy to assemble and adjust but a bit pricey.

This is a great product. I received it in no time at all-which was great. Assembly is relatively easy, taking less than 30 minutes. Beautiful cart that matches my home decor...has a 'rich' look compared to other utility carts. Great buy for anyone looking for a laptop cart but doesn't want to have to hide it everytime company comes over!
