 Not recommended for long-term useMay 04, 2008
The first one was broken and the automatic rocking would never work, so we purchased the same one again because I really liked how it looked and hoped the broken one was just a fluke. It's just kind of a pathetic swing overall. It's cute and very attractive, but not very functionally sound. Our baby had to stop using this swing at 6 months because he was starting to reach out and grab the legs and pull the swing to the side. Obviously the swing doesn't work right after that point. Also, the seat is just too small. My baby's feet were hanging over the front much sooner than they should have and he just appeared to be too big for it even at 4 months. We got a lot of good use out of it from newborn to 4 months before we realized it wasn't gonna work for us any longer. I wouldn't purchase this again if I had another baby.

I went to visit my son whom I sent the baby swing to and the baby was in the swing..they use it to baby sit her..she is just a new born..so..its was well worth buying..it is an ok swing..safe enough..a little straggly looking but..it works fine...I would say that it was a good buy...

I currently use this exact swing for my little one and he loves it...I love it, what a step up from the strollers you had to crank by hand and duck the baby under the top to put them into the swing! My only complaint is that this swing is a little bulky and takes up a bit more space than I'd like, but it's sturdy, safe, and features an adjustable back support (early through late infancy), removable toys, and ease in/out of swing. I went with lithium batteries, but recharable should do just as well.

I have an older version of this swing (maybe five or six years old) and it's just your basic baby swing. A step up from the old school wind up types. AND I LOVE IT!
It's nothing fancy, light-weight and easy to move (while it is bulky). It's tough, the toys (which my daughter loved) are easy to remove from the tray for cleaning or just to have them out of the way. The cover is super easy to remove for washing and doesn't fade. You can open the tray to remove baby with one hand.
Best of all, this is a sturdy, SAFE swing.
My recommendation is to use Energizer batteries. For whatever reason, they lasted the longest in this swing. I'm now going to be trying Energizer rechargeable batteries this time around and will hopefully get the same results.
Overall, this is a GREAT swing. I do recommend it. Why pay more for the fancier ones? I'd buy another one of these if anything were to happen to mine!
